TORONTO, ON – OSSTF/FEESO is proud to mark the launch of our first-ever Bargaining Unit Equity, Anti-Racism, and Anti-Oppression Officer Triennial Conference.

Today, we recognize the vital equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression work that OSSTF/FEESO members do every single day within their Federation, workplaces, and communities.

Through this work, we have the opportunity to radically reimagine our systems and structures. We are creating a vision of what our Federation, workplace, and broader society ought to be, and taking actions toward making that vision a reality.

OSSTF/FEESO would like to thank the individuals who engage in the significant work of equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression in order to create stronger schools, campuses, and communities across Ontario.

Within our own Federation, we are deeply committed to dismantling racism and oppression as evidenced by our Strategic Action Plan and our Action Plan to Support Equity, Anti-Racism, and Anti-Oppression.

OSSTF/FEESO calls on the Ministry of Education, Boards of Education, and universities to condemn racism, oppression, and hate in all its forms, and to not only radically reimagine systems and structures, but also work with OSSTF/FEESO members to build a more inclusive, equitable, and accessible province.
