August 1, 2013 — Kids-In-Mind rates thousands of current and past films in an objective manner.  It uses a scale from 1-10 to determine the amount of sex and nudity, violence and gore, and profanity that may be in each film.  With a quick click, you can view a complete analysis that details any incidents that may be questionable. The site owner states their purpose is to

“provide parents and other adults with objective and complete information about a film's content so that they can decide, based on their own value system, whether they should watch a movie with or without their kids.” 

It is a very user friendly site and the search tool makes it simple to find the film you wish to review.  Educators should always consider the employer policies for use of film and video with students.
