Faculty of Education – Brock University
The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior or Technological Education Teacher Candidate from Brock University who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

Faculty of Education – Lakehead University (Thunder Bay and Orillia campuses)
The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior Teacher Candidate from Lakehead University who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria. There will be an award available at both the Thunder Bay and the Orillia campus. Please indicate which campus you attend.

Schulich School of Education – Nipissing University
The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior Teacher Candidate from Nipissing University who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

The H.W. Bryan Memorial Award of Honour – OISE / University of Toronto
The staff and students of the Faculty of Education, University of Toronto, in association with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation, established this award in honour of Dr. Hugh W. Bryan, for many years a Classics Master and for twenty years principal of Renfrew Collegiate Institute. He was President of OSSTF/FEESO in 1926.

The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior or Technological Education Teacher Candidate from OISE / University of Toronto who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

The F.D. Sawyer Memorial Award – Queen's University
The Sawyer Memorial Award was established in the memory of Frank D. Sawyer, who was a member of the Provincial Executive during some of its most stirring years from 1952 to 1959 and President of OSSTF/FEESO in 1954. At the time of his death in 1960 he was principal of Petrolia District High School. Frank Sawyer's great contribution to the Federation lay in his ability to discover the basic issues in the many difficulties which arose in teacher-board relationships during his term of office and in his saving sense of humour in periods of crisis.

The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior or Technological Education Teacher Candidate from Queen’s University who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

School of Education – Trent University
The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior Teacher Candidate from Trent University who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

Faculty of Education – Ontario Tech University
The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior Teacher Candidate from Ontario Tech University who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

Faculty of Education – University of Ottawa
The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior Teacher Candidate from the University of Ottawa who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

Faculty of Education – University of Windsor
The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior Teacher Candidate from the University of Windsor who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

The D. Younger Memorial Award – Western University
The Younger Memorial Award was established in 1967 in memory of David Younger who for more than thirty years taught in Sudbury. In December 1960 he was elected third vice-president of OSSTF/FEESO and was serving as second vice-president at the time of his death. During his teaching career David Younger contributed his time and talents, at all levels within OSSTF/FEESO, to improve the status of public secondary school teachers of Ontario.

The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior or Technological Education Teacher Candidate from Western University who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.

Robert M. Brooks – York University
This award is named for Robert (Bob) Brooks, former principal of Malvern Collegiate Institute, who died December 31, 1977, at the age of 39. His impact was such that this is the third award to carry his name. The OSSTF/FEESO Faculty of Education Award, valued at $1,000 annually, shall be awarded to the graduating Intermediate/Senior or Technological Education Teacher Candidate who applies for the award and who in the opinion of the OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive has shown a clear understanding and empathy for the values of unionism, is attempting to secure a job with a public secondary board, and best exemplifies the award criteria.
