It Starts With You, It Stays With Him

December 1, 2012 — OSSTF/FEESO partnered with the White Ribbon Campaign to create an on-line resource aimed at inspiring and supporting men in their roles as educators, partners, parents, coaches and community members, to promote healthy, equal relationships with women, girls and other men.  The campaign consists of e-learning modules for secondary school educators, youth and youth workers.

Visit www.itstartswithyou.ca to access lesson plans, digital stories, and interactive exercises that can be used to bring awareness to the issue of violence against women and girls.

As an OSSTF/FEESO member, consider the ways in which you can help to educate young men and engage them in the process of examining their roles and responsibilities in ending the violence. Topics include myths and facts about sexual assault, gender stereotyping, and consent.
